Andriy Koshmak is a trailblazer for sustainable agriculture in Thailand. Originally from Ukraine, Andriy moved to Thailand in 2009 and became interested in sustainable agriculture practices. Green Net Cooperative
Andriy founded “Green Net Cooperative,” a community-driven agriculture organization that aims to promote sustainable agriculture practices and support local farmers in Thailand. The cooperative encourages farmers to switch to organic farming practices and helps them sell their produce directly to consumers. This eliminates the need for middlemen and ensures that farmers receive a fair price for their crops.
Agriculture Training Center
Andriy also established a sustainable agriculture training center, which provides farmers with the knowledge and skills they need to transition to organic farming. The center teaches farmers about soil management, crop rotation, composting, and other sustainable farming practices. The training center has trained over 500 farmers, and many of them have successfully transitioned to organic farming.
